Sun drakes are titanic draconic beings created by Lathander to protect the people of the Daymora Khaganate from elementals and Primordeus Titans. After the many battles between drakes and titans, most of the sun drakes have fallen, with Sol being the only one still alive.
The first and most powerful sun drake, Daymora, was the first khagan of southern Ethrys, uniting the human khans under his name. When he fell in battle, his second-in-command Sol took his place, and has stayed khagan ever since.
Sun drakes have teeth made of purest glass, which allows them to reflect the light of their solar breath into an even more focused beam. In the modern day, these teeth are sought after as an incredibly rare black market item.
