The god of hate and contracts, Asmodeus was an archangel and is now the ruler of the Nine Hells. After he was cast from the heavens by Lathander, his blood imbued with rage fell on the soil of Baator and formed into the first Devils.
The Lord of the Hells’ appearance fluctuates depending on his audience. Typically, he is depicted in his angelic form with blood-stained wings. However, more hellish representations show him is his devil form, with horns sprouting from where his eyes would be, mouths splitting his face in half, and his feathered wings replaced with crimson-scaled bat wings.
